# Client investing

Once your client has accepted their invitation to your firm's DAF program, their account balance will be automatically invested in your [chosen investment portfolio](/how-advisors-use-charityvest-for-advisors/enable-investing.md) and automatically rebalanced.

As an advisor, you can assist your client to [make any changes to their investments](/how-advisors-use-charityvest-for-advisors/enable-investing.md#manage-investing-for-existing-clients) within your firm's custom giving program and, if they express interest, [facilitate their impact investments via our partner](/how-advisors-use-charityvest-for-advisors/enable-investing/impact-investing.md).

Clients can also independently request to connect with our [impact investments](#impact-investments) partner.

**Does your client have questions about their investments in their DAF account?**

You are the best positioned to address their specific DAF investment portfolio questions, though for platform-related inquiries, your client is encouraged to visit the [Charityvest Guidebook](https://guide.charityvest.org/) or contact Charityvest support via email: <support@charityvest.org>

### Impact investing

For clients, it is simple to initiate a conversation about impact investments independently.

To get started with impact investing, your client can follow the [instructions provided in the Charityvest public guide](https://guide.charityvest.org/for-donors/getting-started/enable-investing/impact-investing).

**Curious to learn more about your firm's custom DAF program?** Contact your firm's program manager for program-related matters or Charityvest (<support@charityvest.org>) for platform-related matters.
{% endhint %}
